To be a successful prescriber, it is important to understand some homeopathic concepts

• Homeopathic remedies are not for any particular condition (ie, bladder infections or influenza)
• The symptom picture of the patient should match the symptoms covered by the remedy.
• Some well-studied remedies may have symptom pictures that cover a variety of conditions and therefor the remedy may cover multiple conditions.
• Smaller less understood remedies may only cover one condition.
• Less is more. Dosing instructions will be presented for each condition. You only repeat a remedy when your symptoms are not improving. In general, 30c is the most prescribed potency for acute conditions.

Although each person may react differently to any acute situation, many acute conditions have common presentations. It is the goal of Homeopathic Helper to assist you in matching what you see in a person with what matches the symptom picture of a remedy. Although there are many remedies that may cover any condition, this application only covers the most common presentations of each condition. You may see the same remedy used for many conditions (Belladonna, Arnica, Nux v). When you see a remedy used for more than one condition, the symptoms presented reflect the use of that remedy for that specific condition. To help you with your choice of remedy, I have bolded symptoms in each remedy picture that reflect a very important aspect of the remedy to be considered. For the best results, read each remedy presented for each condition before you make your choice.
